少し前の暑い日、夕暮れの尾久駅のホームから、
上野駅へ後ろ向きに出発しようとしている寝台特急｢北斗星｣と、
牽引するＥＦ510に出会いました。
そのヘッドマークは、夕焼けにほんのり染まって、とても綺麗！
新幹線の新函館駅延伸（2016年3月予定）で、その去就に注目が
集まりますが、すでにＪＲ東日本も新たな豪華寝台列車の計画を
発表しており、24系客車も車体の老朽化で、それまで持つかどうか、
というのが正直なところではないかと推察します。
がんばれ｢北斗星｣！
そして24系！
I've watched Limited Express "Hokotosei" at Oku Sta. on the other day. The head mark was shining by the setting sun. The ballet train, "Shinkansen" will extend to Shin-Hakodate on Mar.2016. So, JR East have announced that new splendid train with sleeping car will appear for a while. Probably, "Hokutosei" and Oha 24 series will retire until the changing at the latest.
